NepalStatus  takes the private nature of your personal information very seriously. 5. INFORMATION USE:

5.1 Administrative purposes: NepalStatus may use PII the users submit to contact them for internal administrative purposes such as site administration, troubleshooting, or processing of e-commerce transactions, or relating to the users’ use of the services or content they post on the services, or in our discretion to notify them of major changes to the services or this privacy policy.

7. THIRD-PARTY SITES AND CONTENT:

8 . DATA SECURITY:

8.1 NepalStatus uses reasonable administrative, technical, personnel and physical measures to safeguard the PII against loss, theft and unauthorised use, disclosure or modification.

8.2 While NepalStatus security measures are efficient, it understands no security system is impenetrable. Moreover, it cannot guarantee that the user information will not be intercepted, disclosed, altered or destroyed in a manner inconsistent with this privacy policy while being transmitted to it.

8.3 The PII may also be stored on computers of third parties that provide technical support for the operation of the news portal or who otherwise have access to the PII as disclosed in this privacy policy. NepalStatus does not control the security measures used by such third parties.

9. OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Linked services: Some of the Services contain links to or integrations with other services such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other media services and platforms whose information practices may be different than NepalStatus ’s. The users should consult these other services’ privacy notices, as we have no control over information that is submitted to, or collected by, these third parties.
• International transfer: This service is governed by and operated following the laws of Nepal. If the users are located outside Nepal, their Information will be transferred to and processed in Nepal where many NepalStatus central databases operate or any other jurisdiction from where its service is operated.

10. DATA DELETION

NepalStatus stores the personal data of users in cookies and sessions only. Users can easily delete browser cookies and sessions to delete their data.

NepalStatus asks visitors who sign up for NepalStatus to provide a username and email address. In each case, NepalStatus collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfil the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with NepalStatus . But, the users can request it to delete their information by properly sending a request by any medium. The deletion process will be conducted only after the NepalStatus team confirms the same via user email.
